STEP 2: WRITE DOWN THOSE THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS

IN YOUR CONTROL

In this exercise we will use Cognitive Behavior and Creative Art Therapy to visualize, document and pivot from “the things we can’t control” in our current situations.

STEP 1

Place your hand down on a piece of paper and trace around your hand.

**fingernails / details (optional)

STEP 2

Use the inside tracing of your hand to list all the things in your current situation  or life that you “DO” have control of.

STEP 3

Use the outside space of your hand tracing to list all the things in your current situation  or life that you “DO NOT” have control of.

STEP 4

Use color to create an “aura” around your hand. This serves as a visual reminder of our willpower.

What color did you choose? What does this color reflect in the Chakra spectrum?

STEP 5

Remind yourself – you are not defined by the things in/outside of your control.

Start where you are, not where you think you should be.
