With the twists and turns of every single life event I have been through, I’ve decided to share the bits and pieces of my story I tend to hold onto. And to be real, the only way you can look ahead in your personal life is to pull inspiration from your past. Painful or not, it’s your story. This is my attempt.
So I’m writing shit down. Taking photos. Shooting new Episodes of #SYGuyTV with my little dude and I’m saving every single memory I possibly can.
If you didn’t know, my amazingly selfless husband is about to spend half of the year in the belly of the USCG STRATTON. A (huge) ship in the Coast Guard, compared to what we’ve been used to in the past. No wifi, no hugs and kisses, and it breaks my heart as well as stresses me out. So this can also be his memory box. And I hope to fill it with nothing but that…amazing, funny, real, raw memories.
If you’ve even read this far, I encourage you to return. I’m not saying I’ll offer any life changing advice…but I’ll be honest, hopefully entertaining and real. Real about myself, my views, the world, and honestly realistic. Because we all need a dose of reality. Not the shit on E!, or your favorite Tiny-House show, but a connection between our shitty president, Trump, and people like me.
I keep getting side tracked – a side effect of pregnancy, I’m sure.
But here’s what I know…and it’s not much so bare with me. (we’re excited, ok) 🙂
I’m probably about 6 weeks along now and have my appointment this week. I’m currently still working at Starbucks and just dealing with the pregnancy side effects on a day by day basis.
I have never seen Sylas so excited for ANYTHING and it is making us even more excited. We are all hoping for a girl of course, and digging the boyish names. But we can’t agree on anything yet…as well as the fact that I want to wait till the birth to learn the gender. We’ll see how long that one lasts.
until next time…

I am so happy for you guys. Especially for Sy having a sibling. I think I have more room in my heart for another little person to call me yaya.
